(Peoria–jc)  -  The IHSA State Final Cross Country Meet was held at Detweiller Park in Peoria on Saturday.  Chicago DePaul Prep won the Boys 1-A Meet and the Lady Rockets of Unity were the Girls Cross Country Champions. Bryson Grant of Iroquois West finished 8th in the boys meet,,  Unity’s Makenzie Pound finished 11th and Emily Decker 19th in the girls race while St Joe Ogden’s Savannah Franzen was 14th and Paxton Buckley Loda’s Trixie Johnson was 29th.

In the Boys Class 2-A race Aaron Hendron of Champaign Centennial finished 13th.
