The top 5 teams remained the same in the latest College Football poll with Georgia, Ohio St. Michigan, TCU, and Tennessee, maintaining their places after wins this past weekend. Penn St. is at #11 and Illinois fell out of the top 25 with its loss to Purdue.

(Champaign–jc)  The University of Illinois Fighting  Illini Men’s basketball team heads to Las Vegas for the Continental Tire Tournament and will face several top 10 teams in the nation. Coaches frown on putting players in the rotation with 2 fouls in the first half. That is what happened on Monday night with the Illini’s Coleman Hawkins. U of I Coach Brad Underwood says he put Hawkins back in the first half  with the 2 fouls on Monday night…
