The money would go toward a skilled nursing facility with 120 beds. Carle Health also created a challenge; when they get to $2.5 million, they will give the organization another $500,000 to get them to their goal. The group has already raised $1.8 million, and hopes the rest of the money will be raised in a year, with the groundbreaking process set to begin in spring of 2027.
