(Gibson City-jm) -- A Gibson City business is closing after more than a century in business. Lamb Young Funeral Home is closing their doors after 134 years. The funeral home was started in 1887 by W.S. Lamb. Three generations of the Lamb family ran the funeral home until Earl Young purchased the funeral home in 1980. Another generation of the Young family currently runs the funeral home.

On June 9th, Amy Armstrong of Melvin was arrested for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with no valid drivers license. On June 11th Joe Gherardini of Gibson City was cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Also on June 11th, William Lindsay of Gibson City was arrested on an in state warrant. On June 12th, Keirsten Trhlik of Gibson City was arrested for resisting a peace officer and cited for a city ordinance violation for a vehicle on a sidewalk.
