Illinois Governor J-B Pritzker. According to CDC numbers, more than 67 percent of Illinois adults have received at least one dose of the vaccine and more than half are fully vaccinated. Since Friday, Champaign County reported 48 new cases bringing their total to 20,978. Iroquois County reported 5 new cases bringing their total to 3,106. Vermilion County reported 14 new cases bringing their total to 9,911.

(Ashkum-jm) -- District 21 Illinois State Police in Ashkum have released results from May enforcement patrols. During the month, troopers issued 130 speeding citations, 94 seat belt citations, 13 drivers license citations, 6 insurance violations, 4 registration citations, 2 each of texting while driving and DUI citations, 1 child restraint citation.
