Ryan Blaney earned his second consecutive win at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. After a pit crew blunder, Blaney raced from 17th to 1st and led the final 74 laps to beat Bubba Wallace. Josh Berry finished a season best third, Christopher Bell and Kyle Larson rounded out the top 5.

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Illinois DB Matthew Bailey has been named to the preseason watch list for the 2026 Chuck Bednarik Award, released Friday by the Maxwell Football Club. Bailey is among 91 players listed in consideration for the College Defensive Player of the Year honor. He is one of 19 Big Ten players on the watch list.

Hedda Ornberg made her first start as an Illini tonight where she led the team in shots with six and had three shots on goal.

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Two Illinois team captains, offensive lineman Jake Renfro and defensive back Xavier Scott, have been named to the preseason watch list for the 2026 College Football Comeback Player of the Year Award.
