NASCAR

Shane van Gisbergen continued his remarkable run on the twistiest track in NASCAR, but it was no Sunday drive. He became the winningest active driver on road and street courses. He led 74 of the final 83 laps and held off a charge by Chase Briscoe. Ty Gibbs finished third, with Kyle Larson and Christopher Bell rounding out the top 5.

(Peoria–jc)  Congratulations to the Champaign Dream 10 and Under baseball team. They won a 20 team tournament over the weekend at the Louisville Slugger Sports complex. They are the U S S S A  (U-Triple S-A)Global State Champions. The Dream won 4 straight games on Sunday to clinch the title.  Congrats to coaches Jason Erwin and Ross Sorenson and the entire team.
