(Champaign–jc)  Illinois football has another recruit from the state. Geneva wide receiver Bennett Konkey committed to the University of Illinois football program. Konkey is a 4 star rated wide receiver. He also won a state title in the 100 meter dash this year.

 

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Fighting Illini men's golfers Max Herendeen and Ryan Voois were named to the College Sport Communicators Academic All-District At-Large list, the association announced Tuesday. The duo was also denoted as finalists for CSC Academic All-America honors and will now advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members.

 

HAMPAIGN, Ill. – Two University of Illinois wrestlers Luke Luffman and Spencer Moore were named to College Sport Communicators Academic All-District At-Large list, the association announced Tuesday.Luffman wrestled at heavyweight for the Orange and Blue where he went 14-9 overall, 9-3 in duals and 3-1 in Big Ten duals. He placed eighth at the Big Ten Championships and qualified to the NCAA Championships for the fifth time in his career. The Urbana, native led the team in major decisions with six .
