(Champaign–jc)  The University of Illinois Division of Intercollegiate Athletics, in conjunction with Gameday Spirit Fan Store, will host the Fighting Illini spring merchandise sale on Saturday, April 11, in the Great West Hall of Gies Memorial Stadium. Shoppers will be able to purchase used University of Illinois team-issued gear in addition to new officially licensed Fighting Illini clothing and souvenirs at discount prices up to 80% off. The sale will run from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.  Free parking will be available at State Farm Center in the NW lot. 

 

(St Joseph–jc)  –- St. Joseph-Ogden High School will honor its 2006 state championship softball team on Saturday, April 25th. The event includes a round robin softball tournament. Teams include St Joe Ogden, Arthur Lovington-Atwood Hammond and Beacher. Games start at 10am on the 25th on Randy Wolken Field.

At around 1 PM, there will be a 20-year reunion ceremony for the 2006 SJO State Championship Softball team.
