(Chicago-jm) – The Chicago Bears endeavor for a new stadium took a meaningful step forward Thursday, opening the door for the storied franchise to leave Illinois to potentially build a new, domed stadium in Northwest Indiana. Indiana lawmakers unanimously approved a bill that would clear a path for the Bears to build a stadium in Hammond, Indiana.

 

 

(Minonk–jc)  The Cissna Park Lady Timberwolves are IHSA Class 1-A Regional champions as they defeated Fieldcrest 55 to 20 in Minonk last night. The team has won 4 regionals in a row, but Cissna Park GIrls Basketball Coach Anthony Videcka says the team is always “grateful” to now advance to the 1-A Sectionals next week…
