(Champaign–jm) – Illinois football added to its receiver room on Wednesday. Ball State transfer wide receiver Ty Robinson has committed to the Illini. Robinson comes to Champaign for his sixth and final year of college football after stops with the Cardinals and Colorado. In 2025, he played in six games while tallying 11 catches for 113 yards. Illinois has now added two wideouts from the transfer portal, with Robinson joining former Florida Atlantic standout Jayshon Platt.
