(Champaign-dg)-The Fighting Illini Basketball team will be without Guard Ty Rogers indefinitely as he undergoes surgery for a knee injury he sustained during a pickup game of basketball last week.  Rogers redshirted last year but was excited to join this year’s team.

 

(Chicago–jc)  –Motorists in Chicago will start to see street closings this week in preparation for NASCAR street races in The Windy City. The Chicago Tribune reports an accelerated setup and breakdown is meant to reduce frustrations for drivers. Races are scheduled July 5 and 6.
