CHAMPAIGN, Ill.– The Big Ten Conference has revealed the breakdown of conference opponents for the 2025-26 men's basketball season. For the eighth straight year, Big Ten teams will once again compete in a 20-game conference schedule. The 18-team Big Ten schedule format calls for each school to play three teams both home and away, and 14 teams once; seven home and seven away.

The Illini will be home only with, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Oregon, Rutgers, Washington, and Wisconsin The Illini will be away only with,  Iowa, Michigan State, Ohio State, Penn State, Purdue, UCLA,  and USC. Illinois plays home and away with– Maryland, Nebraska, and Northwestern

 

(Kankakee-jc)  –Kankakee Community College honored Roy Cordes, affectionately known as The Voice of the Cavaliers, at a retirement reception this week. Cordes has served as the college’s sports announcer since 2008, lending his enthusiastic voice to KCC athletics for over 15 years.
