(Undated-jm) – The top 4 seeds in the NCAA tournament are Auburn, Duke, Houston and Florida. In the Midwest Region, 4th seeded Purdue will take on 13th seeded High Point Thursday in Providence, Rhode Island while 6th seeded Illini take on the winner of Texas and Xavier in Milwaukee on Friday. UCLA is the 7th seed in the Midwest Region. They’ll play 10th seeded Utah State Thursday in Lexington, Kentucky. In the East Region, Oregon is seeded 5th. They’ll play 12th seeded Liberty Friday in Seattle while the Wisconsin Badgers enter the tournament with the 3rd seed taking on 14th seeded Montana Thursday in Denver. In the South Region, the Michigan Wolverines are the 5th seed taking on UC San Diego Thursday in Denver while the Michigan State Spartans earned the 2nd seed in the region. They take on 15th seed Bryant Friday in Cleveland. In the West Region, the Maryland Terrapins get the 4th seed. They will take on Grand Canyon University Friday in Seattle. Indiana and Ohio State both were in the first four out.
(Undated-jm) – The men’s team isn’t the only one going dancing. The Illini Women will also continue in the postseason. They got the 8th seed in Region 3 taking on 9th seed Creighton. Ohio State is the 4th seed in that region taking on 13th seed Montana State. Nebraska is the 10th seed taking on 7th seed Louisville. In Region 2, Indiana 9th seed taking on 8th seed Utah. Maryland is the 4th seed taking on 13th seed Norfolk State. Oregon is the 10th seed they will take on the 7th seed Vanderbilt. In Region 4, Iowa is the 6th seed taking on 11th seed Murray State. In Region 1, UCLA is the number 1 seed and will play the winner of UC San Diego and Southern. Michigan State is the 7th seed and will take on 10th seed Harvard.

Josh Berry raced to the first Cup Series victory of his career, taking NASCAR's oldest team to victory lane at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Berry, in his first season driving the famed No.21 for Wood Brothers Racing, had the first victory for a Ford team through five races this season.

(Chicago-jm) – Joey Gallo has been released by the Chicago White Sox after the veteran slugger struggled in nine Cactus League games with the team. The White Sox announced the move Sunday. The first baseman/outfielder was in camp on a minor league contract.
