(Chicago-jm) – Chicago Bulls guard Zach Lavine has been traded to the Sacramento Kings as part of a 3 team trade over the weekend involving the Bulls, Kings and the San Antonio Spurs. Chicago gets back its own 2025 pick via the Spurs, along with San Antonio's Zach Collins and Tre Jones, and the Kings' Kevin Huerter.

 

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The No. 13 Illinois wrestling team  won their dual over No. 27 Purdue  on Saturday  by a score of 35-8. The Illini won eight out of the ten bouts with a pin, three tech. falls, two major decisions and two decisions. The Illini Wrestling team heads to Penn State this week

 

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Illinois Women's Basketball team secured its first ranked road win since 2019 with a dramatic 66-65 victory over No. 14 Maryland at XFINITY Center on Sunday afternoon. Genesis Bryant knocked down two free throws with six seconds remaining to give the Fighting Illini their first-ever win against the Terrapins and their third ranked triumph of the season. Playing all 40 minutes, Bryant finished with a game-high 20 points while making two 3-pointers and going a perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line. Scoring 10 points in the third quarter alone, Bryant also amassed four rebounds, two assists, and a steal.
