(Eugene-Oregon–jc) –Number 22 Illinois used balanced scoring and an efficient offensive performance to soar past Number 9 Oregon, 109-77, at Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene Oregon last night. The victory marked the Fighting Illini's first road win over a top-10 team since 2021, while the Orange and Blue surpassed the 100-point scoring mark away from home for the first time since 2016.

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — Former Illini All-American Devon Witherspoon earned his second consecutive Pro Bowl selection, the NFL announced Thursday. Witherspoon is the first player since Dick Butkus to finish his Illini career then earn a spot in the Pro Bowl during his first two seasons in the NFL.
Witherspoon has 90 tackles, six tackles for loss, one sack, and seven passes defended on the season.
