2024 Paris Olympics

Noah Lyles claimed the gold in the men's 100 meter sprint in one of the closest finals in Olympic history. It took a photo finish to determine he was 5 thousandths of a second faster than Jamaica’s Kishane Thompson. 

 

Scottie Scheffler won the gold in golf defeating Great Britain’s Tommy Fleetwood.

 

The women’s 4x100 meter medley relay won the gold earning the 8th gold, a world record in the Paris pool.
