Paris Olympics

Simone Biles and the U.S. women’s gymnastic team defeated both Italy and Brazil to win team gold yesterday. It’s the first gymnastics team gold since the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics. Biles’ gold is her eighth Olympic medal surpassing Shannon Miller to make her the most decorated U.S. Olympic gymnast. 

 

The U.S men’s soccer team reached the quarterfinal for the first time since the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
