The University of Illinois Women’s softball team beat Wisconsin in the opening round of the Big 10 Tournament in Champaign last night. The final was 8 to 4. Daniell Davis hit a grand slam to lead the way for Illinois. Top seed Northwestern and second seed Indiana get into tournament play in Champaign today.  The Illini take on Nebraska in the quarterfinals tonight at 7pm.
