(Champaign–jc)  –  The University Of Illinois Fighting Illini beat Nebraska last night by a score of 72 to 56. The Cornhuskers led by as many as 7 points in the first half, but the Illini played better defense in the second half allowing only 6 points in the final minutes of the game.
