(Bloomington-dg)-The IHSA Board of Directors have decided to permit the use of an experimental shot clock in select boys and girls basketball events for this season. The shot clock will be allowed in regular season tournaments and shootouts. Event hosts will need to apply for IHSA approval. The board also decided to discontinue the Three-Point Showdown that is part of the boys and girls state series.
