The Buckley Dutchmasters won the first game on Sunday at Schiewe Field against the Royal GIants 6 to 1. The Dutchmasters scored a single run in the bottom of the first and added three insurance runs in the 7th for the win. The Dutchmasters completed the sweep in exciting fashion scoring 5 runs in the top of the 7th for an 8 to 6 win
In Paxton, the Arcola Riders scored three times in the first inning of game one but the Swedes came back with two runs in the button half of the frame and added 3 runs in the 4th inning on their way to a 7 to 4 win. Paxton scattered 16 hits in the second game to win 12 to 1. Current standings show the Buckley Dutchmasters in first place with an 11 and 1 record followed by the Royal Giants in second with a record of 8 and 4.

Chase Elliot took the checkered flag at Atlanta in the Quaker State 400 to join his father Bill Elliot, as the only Georgia born drivers to win at Atlanta. They now join Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt Jr. as the only father-son duo to win at Atlanta.
