(Gilman-jm) – Iroquois West offensive lineman Cannon Leonard is making it two Big Ten players in the family, as the junior committed to play college football at Iowa. The Leonard’s will be on opposite sidelines, as Cannon’s older brother Clayton starts his freshman season at Illinois this season.

 

(Chicago-jm) – The Chicago Bulls have agreed to a one-year contract with veteran point guard Goran Dragic. He ended up playing just 16 regular-season games for Brooklyn and struggled some after sitting out most of the season with the Toronto Raptors. However, Dragic found his form in the playoffs, averaging 10.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists while shooting 56% from the field in just under 20 minutes per game.

Tyler Reddick raced to his first NASCAR Cup Series victory Sunday at Road America, continuing the season-long trend of first time winners on road courses. De defeated defending race champion Chase Elliott by 3 seconds. Kyle Larson was third followed by Ross Chastain and Daniel Suarez.
