Michigan and Purdue were the only teams in the Big Ten to advance to the Sweet Sixteen. Michigan will play Villanova on Thursday and Purdue will play the Cinderella team in St. Peter’s on Friday.

Congratulations to the Cissna Park Wildcats 8th grade Volleyball team on finishing 2nd at State. They lost 25-20 and 25-22 to Lincoln West Broadwell.

 

NASCAR

The race at Atlanta Motor Speedway met all expectations and proved to be chaotic and thrilling. William Byron won his 3rd career race that saw 46 lead changes, high speeds and several wrecks. Ross Chastain finished second, with Kurt Busch, Daniel Suarez and Corey Lajoie rounding out the top 5.
