(Cooperstown-dg)-10 time All Star and Legendary Boston Red Sox slugger David Ortiz will be inducted into the Hall of Fame as the sole member of the 2022 class selected by the Baseball Writers’ Association of America. He will join Bud Fowler, Gil Hodges, Jim Kaat, Minnie Miniso, Buck O’Neil and Tony Oliva as members of the class of 2022 after they were chosen via committees earlier this winter.
