(Houston)-- Chicago White Sox First baseman Jose Abreu did not travel with the Sox to Houston. The Sox announced on Wednesday afternoon that Abreu has been battling flu-like symptoms in recent days. The White Sox did confirm the illness is not related to COVID-19. 

 

(Chicago)-- Chicago Bears Head Coach Matt Nagy announced that Rookie Quarterback Justin Fields will be the starter for the remainder of the season. The move comes after Fields won his second start against the Detroit Lions. In other Bears news, running back David Montgomery will mis 4 to 5 weeks with a sprained knee.
