(Chicago-jm) -- Cubs shortstop Javier Baez was fined an undisclosed amount but avoided suspension Wednesday for his actions in the team's walk-off win over the Cincinnati Reds on Monday night. Baez singled off of Reds reliever Amir Garrett with the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth inning, bringing home Patrick Wisdom with the winning run. As soon as he made contact on the pitch, he began yelling at Garrett and continued to taunt him on his way to first base.

 

(Green Bay-jm) -- The Green Bay Packers are acquiring Randall Cobb from the Houston Texans in exchange for a 2022 sixth round pick.
