On Tuesday afternoon, two Fighting Illini offensive lineman, Verderian Lowe and Doug Kramer were named to the Outland Trophy Watchlist. The Outland Trophy is awarded to the best interior offensive lineman in the NCAA. 

 

 

(Chicago-cf)-- The inevitable is happening to the Chicago Cubs, the anticipated fire sale as the MLB trade deadline approaches. The Chicago Cubs have already traded Andrew Chafin, a right handed reliever. Now there are multiple teams interested in third baseman Kris Bryant including the New York Mets, and the Tampa Bay Rays. The trade deadline is Friday afternoon.
