(Chicago-cf)-- Chicago White Sox Outfielder Eloy Jiminez will rejoin the South Siders Monday night in Kansas City. Eloy tore a pectoral muscle in spring training which has had him sidelined. It is expected the outfielder will handle the designated hitter duties. 

 

 

(WPXN-cf)-- Taking a look at the MLB Standings: The Chicago Cubs remain 9.5 games back from the Milwaukee Brewers, while the St. Louis Cardinals remain 8.5 back from the Brewers in 3rd place in the NL Central. The Chicago White Sox are still in 1st place of the AL Central with a 8.5 game lead over Cleveland. 

 

 

(Peoria-cf)-- The ‘House of Paign' was eliminated in the first round of the TBT Tournament over the weekend. The Illini alumni team was defeated 64-58  by the Jackson Underdawgs. Rayvonte Rice led the Orange and Blue in scoring with 24. 

 

 

(Urbana-cf)-- The Fighting Illini Men’s Basketball program has jumped in most preseason rankings with the return of center Kofi Cockburn. Kofi says his decision to return to Champaign was easy, saying that the Orange and Blue are family, and one of the only D1 programs to take a chance on him 3 seasons ago…
