(Chicago-cf)-- One day after announcing his retirement on Instagram, Chicago White Sox Yermin Mercedes is back with the organization. He will be in uniform for the Triple A Charlotte Knights, tonight and the series. The White Sox organization never took Mercedes off the active roster. 

 

(WPXN-cf)-- The NFL sent out a strong memo to all teams and players as people start reporting to training camp. The league is pushing all players and personnel to get the COVID-19 vaccine. In the memo, the NFL stated that if a game is postponed due a COVID outbreak, and cannot be rescheduled, the game will be forfeited by the team. The NFL has not made the vaccine mandatory for players and staff.
