(WPXN-cf)-- Taking a look at the MLB Standings as the season enters the All-Star break: In the National League Central, the Milwaukee Brewers(53-39) lead the division. The St. Louis Cardinals are tied with the Cubs at 44-46, and sit 8 games behind the Brewers. In the AL Central, the Chicago White Sox sit atop the division at 54-35 with an 8 game lead over the Cleveland Indians. 


 

(Urbana-cf)-- The Fighting Illini Men’s Basketball program filled the final assistant coaching vacancy. Head Coach Brad Underwood announced that Tim Anderson will be joining the staff. The Chicago native has spent the last 4 seasons as an assistant coach at DePaul. 

 

(Atlanta-cf)-- Kurt Busch held off his brother Kyle Busch at Atlanta Motorspeedway Sunday afternoon to earn a spot in the playoffs. Busch became the 12th driver to earn one of 16 total playoff spots. 

 

(Chicago-cf)-- The MLB has officially entered the All-Star break. With the Chicago White Sox on pace to make the playoffs for the second year in a row, the pitching rotation will be key in the second half. Manager Tony La Russa says that he and his staff have an idea of the new order from top to bottom…
