The St. Louis Cardinals are tied with the Cubs at 44-46, and sit 8 games behind the Brewers. In the AL Central, the Chicago White Sox sit atop the division at 54-35 with an 8 game lead over the Cleveland Indians. 

 

(Urbana-cf)-- The Fighting Illini Men’s Basketball program filled the final assistant coaching vacancy. Head Coach Brad Underwood announced that Tim Anderson will be joining the staff. The Chicago native has spent the last 4 seasons as an assistant coach at DePaul. 

 

(Atlanta-cf)-- Kurt Busch held off his brother Kyle Busch at Atlanta Motorspeedway Sunday afternoon to earn a spot in the playoffs. Busch became the 12th driver to earn one of 16 total playoff spots.
