(Chicago-cf)-- Chicago White Sox Outfielder Eloy Jimenez will start his rehab assignment in Winston-Salem this week. There is a timetable of Eloy returning to the South Side in late July or early August. Manager Tony La Russa stated on Thursday that Eloy will be the main DH for the remainder of the season.
(Urbana-cf)-- The Fighting Illini Basketball program missed out on a potential transfer big man in Dawson Garcia. Garcia withdrew his name from the NBA Draft and decided to transfer from Marquette. The Illini were one of the leaders in his recruiting cycle, but Garcia ultimilty chose North Carolina. There is still uncertainty around Kofi Cockburn and if he will suit up for the Illini next season.
