(South Carolina-cf)-- History was made at the PGA Tour Championship over the weekend. 50 year old Phil Mickleson won this season's Tour Championship, becoming the oldest player to do so. The record was held by Jack Nicklaus who was 46 when he accomplished the feat. Mickleson earned his 45th win on the PGA Tour, and his 6th major. 

 

 

(Urbana-cf)-- Fighting Illini Men’s basketball Head Coach Brad Underwood made another Coaching hire over the weekend. Underwood promoted assistant to the head coach Geoff Alexander into the new role. Alexander has in-state ties, as well as international ties on the recruiting trail.
