Cubs and White Sox Win, Cards Lose

MLB Last night:

Yu Darvish allowed one run and eight hits over 6 innings as the Chicago Cubs doubled up the Cardinals 6-3.

The Chicago White Sox beat the Detroit Tigers 10 to 4. Tim Anderson hit another lead off homer for the South Siders to get the momentum rolling early.

NHL Last Night:

The Las Vegas Golden Knights beat the Chicago Blackhawks 4-3 to win the opening series of the NHL Playoffs.

(Chicago-cf)-- There may be a lineup change in the Cubs batting order. NL Rookie of the Year and MVP Kris Bryant has been the lead off man for the North Siders most of the season, but that position would soon go to Ian Happ. Bryant, who is not completely healthy after a play where he jammed his wrist on a fly ball in left field, is batting .177 on the year. Cubs fans could see Happ in  the leadoff spot as early as tonight.

(Chicago-cf)-- Chicago Bears Cornerback Artie Burns suffered a torn ACL yesterday at training camp. Burns, who was a Free Agent Signing from the Steelers will not play a game for the Bears this season. The job will now fall to Rookie and Second Round pick Jayloyn Johnson.
