Cubs win, off to best start since 1907

MLB Scores from last night:

The Chicago Cubs are off to the best start in franchise history since 1907 at 13-3 with another 4 to 2 win over the Brewers at Wrigley Field. 

 

 

(St. Louis-cf)-- The St. Louis Cardinals could return to the diamond for the first time in nearly two weeks. If there are no positive tests in the organization, the Red Birds will play a double-header in Chicago against the White Sox on Saturday. 


 

NHL:

The Chicago Blackhawks dropped game two yesterday afternoon. The Hawks tied the game up late in the third period to send it to overtime, but it wasn't enough as the Vegas Golden Nights 4-3. 

 

 

(WPXN-cf)-- The Illini Prairie Conference will be joining the Apollo Conference for this upcoming season. The decision was made by conference leaders yesterday afternoon to join the two conferences for football only, and for only the potential spring season of next year. 


 

(Indianapolis-cf)-- NCAA President Mark Emmert announced yesterday that there will not be any NCAA Championship games or events this fall. Emmert said there are not enough teams participating in order to have championship events due to the pandemic. More than 50% of the schools in the NCAA have postponed their seasons. 


 

Tonight at the Farmer City Raceway it’s  a Full Show of racing. See the best in Late Models, Modifieds, Pro Lates, Street Stocks, plus B-Mods. Gates open at 4pm, Hot laps at 6:30pm, Qualifying at 7pm and racing gets underway at 7:30pm. Admission is $12 for adults, veterans get in for $5, and kids 12 and under are free.
