(Urbana-cf)-- The University of Illinois Fighting Illini football program started training camp yesterday afternoon. Recent Louisville transfer Tre’Shaun Smith did not attend the first day of camp. Smith was also not listed on the final roster as of last night. The Illini are unsure of his absence.

 

Tonight at the Farmer City Raceway its the What Up Dog  40” with 1 thousand dollars to win for Street Stocks, plus full show. Gates open at 4pm, Hot laps at 6:30pm, Qualifying at 7pm and racing gets underway at 7:30pm. Admission is $12 for adults, veterans get in for $5, and kids 12 and under are free. 

 

The E. I. Baseball Championship series takes place Saturday and Sunday in Buckley. The Royal Giants and Buckley Dutchmasters will play a best of 3 series. The Game on Saturday starts at 2pm.
