(Miami-cf)-- Could the MLB restart already be in jeopardy? 14 Miami Marlins players and staff have tested positive for the Covid-19 the first weekend in. Commissioner Rob Manfred told reporters yesterday the outbreak “is not a nightmare situation.” The MLB has not yet confirmed rumors of canceling the season. 



(Chicago-cf)-- The Chicago White Sox have lost two players in the first 3 games of the season. Pitcher Reynaldo Lopex has been placed on the 10 day Injured List for a shoulder strain suffered in his first outing Sunday afternoon, and Left Fielder Eloy Jimenez is day-to-day after crashing into the outfield fence on Sunday afternoon. There is no timetable for his return. 



(Urbana-cf)-- Illinois Basketball stars Ayo Dosunmu and Kofi Cockburn have both received invitations to the NBA Draft Combine. Both have verbally declared to test the NBA Draft waters, and still have until August 3rd to remain in the draft or return to Champaign-Urbana for another season. There is not a date set for the NBA Draft Combine.
