Austin Dillon earns first NASCAR Cup Series win in 81 starts.

(Buckley--jc)  --  The Buckley Dutchmasters took two games from the Paxton Swedes Sunday afternoon at Schiewe Field. Nathan Walker provided the only run in the first game with a solo homerun in a 1-0 win. The Dutchmasters used 14 hits to produce 15 runs in the second game winning 15-5. Andrew Zenner got the win in game one and Andy Davis got the win in game 2.

 

 

(Newton Iowa-cf)-- From the IndyCar double header this weekend at the Iowa Motor Speedway, Simon Paganoud was the winner of Friday's race. Pagnoud started in last place after a fuel pump issue in qualifying. On Saturday Josef Newgarden dominated leading a majority of the race to secure his first win of the season. 

 

 

(Dublin Ohio-cf)-- Jon Rahm dominated the competition this weekend at the Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Golf Club in Dublin Ohio. Rahm finished his week -9. Rahm also earned the honor of being the world’s top golfer. This was Rahm’s fourth PGA Tour victory.

 

 

(Chicgo-cf)-- Baseball is back! The MLB opened up Spring Training 2.0 yesterday. The Chicago White Sox traveled to the North Side to beat the Cubs 7-3. The St. Louis Cardinals will play the Kansas City Royals Wednesday night. 

 

 

(WPXN-cf)-- Lebron James has set  a new record in the sports world, but it might not be one that you would think of. Lebron James. James’ 03-04’ sports card was sold for a whopping 1.8 million dollars over the weekend, setting a new record for the sale of a sports card. The card was sold from Golden Auctions to Lob.com CEO Leore Avidar. 


 

Results from the Farmer City Raceway. Brian Shirley of Chatham won in Late Models, Mike McKinney of Plainfield won Modifieds. Aaron Heck of Mount Vernon won Pro Lates, Matt Maier of Thomasboro won Street Stocks. This week is the 10th Annual Jr. Kimler Memorial Race with 3 thousand to win for Late Models plus a full show. 

 

 

(Fort Worth-cf)-- Austin Dillon was the winner of yesterday's race at Texas Motorspeedway. The win was Dillion’s first in 81 starts.  Next up for the Cup Series is a race on Thursday night from Kansas Motor Speedway. You can hear the race live on WPXN.
