No Tailgaiting and only 20% capacity at Illinois Football games

(Urbana--jc)  --  Plans continue for fall sports at the University of Illinois. University of Illinois Chancellor Robert Jones and Athletic Director Josh Whitman talked about the plans to have 20 percent capacity at U of I Football games, the face covering requirements to cleaning processes and tailgating. To date, no football will be played until the Big 10 season. WPXN will carry all U of I Football games  again this year. 

 

 

(Bloomington--jc)  The College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin has decided to wait till next week to decide how fall sports will take place in its league. League officials are looking to the N-C-A-A for further guidelines before making a decision. A decision is expected next Thursday or Friday.

(Farmer City-cf)-- Tonight at the Farmer City Raceway it’s The Baum Chevrolet Buick  UMP Summer Nationals with $10 thousand dollars to win for Late Models plus full show. Gates open at 4pm, Hot laps at 6:30pm, Qualifying at 7pm and racing gets underway at 7:30pm. Admission is $25 for adults, and kids 12 and under are free. 

 

 

Tonight on WPXN it’s the Iowa 300 INDY Car Race number 1 from Iowa Speedway. Broadcast starts at 7:30pm. 

 

Saturday morning it’s our Live Action Auction starting at 8am. 

 

Saturday evening it's the Iowa 300 INDY Car Race number 2 from Iowa Speedway. Broadcast starts at 7pm.

 

On Sunday its the O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 NASCAR Cup Series race  from Texas Motor Speedway with a 1pm start time.
