House of ‘Paign got its first ever win in the Basketball Tournament Saturday night in a 76-53 first round blowout victory over War of Tampa. Mike Daum finished with 21 points and 13 rebounds. Andres Feliz scored 20 points. House of Paign will face Carmen’s Crew at 4pm on Wednesday. 

(Farmer City-dg)-It was a great night for racing Friday night at the Farmer City Raceway and the fans were given a great fireworks show afterwards. Allen Weisser won the Late Model Feature, Mike McKinney won Modifieds, Aaron Heck won Pro Lates and Lance Evans won Street Stocks. This Friday is a full show with Hornets. 

INDIANAPOLIS -- Kevin Harvick turned up the pressure on Denny Hamlin late in the Brickyard 400. And on a cooling track, Hamlin's worn tires simply gave out.

As the sun set Sunday over Indianapolis Motor Speedway with Hamlin seven laps from one of the few victories that has eluded him, he went careening into the first-turn wall with a flat right-front tire, and Harvick beat Matt Kenseth off the final restart to win his second straight Brickyard.
