Yesterday was the day for Illini football, and that day was the early signing period. Since the new early signing period was put into place in 2018, the regular signing day which is in mid-February has now taken a backseat to the new early day. Yesterday I followed along on Twitter to see all of the guys that Lovie and CO. brought in and signed throughout the day yesterday. In case you missed it, here is a list(by position) that Lovie and his staffed signed to the University yesterday. Lovie needed defensive lineman with a line that was full of seniors this past season, and one and done transfers, and the staff got them, I feel like the D-Line was the best-recruited position this offseason for the Illini.
