Update-

 

Once again I apologize for the delay in the posts on the website, as well as on Twitter. The end of the semester is starting to hit pretty hard and once that is somewhat wrapped up, I will be back up to normal. 

 

What happened throughout the week: 

 

Illini: 

Kofi Cockburn won Big Ten player of the week, as well as freshman of the week during the run the Illini went on in the past week with another blowout win against Lindenwood last night at the State Farm Center. 

 

In Illini football, I posted a blog after the 19-10 loss in Iowa City. I will be in attendance this Saturday for the Northwestern game. I will have more about that on the On the Sidelines program Saturday morning with Jay and myself. 

 

IHSA: 

PBL Lady Panther basketball finished second in the Falcon-Bunny tip-off classic. 

 

PBL SR Golfer Trey VanWinkle was named to the News-Gazette All-Area Boys Golf Team.
