Illini Basketball Half time update: 

 

The Illini are off to a hot start in the opening frame tonight. In the keys to the game, I mentioned that Ayo needed to have a quick start and a higher game in the scoring column for the Illini tonight. He has hit two from deep thus far tonight. Ayo is 5-9 from the field, 2-4 from 3, with a total of 12 points. Alan Griffen has been the star at least for the last 6 minutes of the half. Griff has tallied 17 while going 7-10 from the field including 3-6 from the field. 

 

Stats and Highs for the first half: 

Griffen- 17, 4 and 1

Kofi- 14, 8, 1

Ayo- 12, 0, 1 

 

Keep your foot on the gas and close this game out and win it by 30 like it should be done, if not more. I will have my post-game reactions up on the website later tonight.
