First Half Update:
A stagnant offense for both teams in the opening half to start the contest tonight. At the first media timeout, there were only 11 combined points. The Illini are still turning the ball over(10) on pace for 20 (avg 20.7) and the “week off the rust” was really prominent to start. Back-to-back treys from Ayo and Trent helped push the lead a little more, but scoring was still absent. Illini stats thus far:

This might be the worst half of basketball that the Illini have played this season. They are force-feeding Kofi down low who is 1-7 with three turnovers in the first half. He is having a rough night with a decent opponent in Casper defending him. Hopefully, the Illini come out of the locker room for the second half firing on all cylinders.
