Teddy Bridgewater threw for 281 yards and two touchdowns in the Saints 36-25 victory against the Bears in Chicago.

 

The Green Bay Packers are atop the NFC North at 6-1 following their win over the Raiders, 42-24. Aaron Rodgers threw for 429 yards and accounted for six touchdowns.

 

Jacoby Brissett (brih-SEHT') threw a career-high four touchdown passes before Darius Leonard's late interception sealed the Colts’ 30-23 victory against the Texans.

 

NASCAR

Denny Hamlin has won a chaotic NASCAR Cup Series elimination race at Kansas Speedway by holding off Chase Elliott on a second overtime restart to pick up some extra playoff points. Elliott managed to finish second and advanced to the round of eight on points. Kyle Busch wound up third, followed by Kurt Busch and William Byron.
