The winner of the Dick Franzen Batting award is Gifford Flatville’s Storm Joop. Joop was also given the Ralph Loschen Most outstanding player award. Cade Sestak of Gifford Flatville was selected as the winner of the Virgil Scheiwe award for most outstanding pitcher The Post season tournament begins on Sunday in Buckley and Gifford. The Buckley Dutchmasters are the number one seed and the number 2 seed is the Royal Giants. All games in the post season are 9 inning contests. In Buckley at 1 on Sunday, its Game 7 and the Paxton Swedes. The winner to take on Buckley in game 2. In Gifford on Sunday, Gifford-Flatville takes on El Paso with the winner to take on Royal in game two.
The winners of the two sites meet the following weekend with a best of 3 game series to decide the tournament winner.
