Fighting Illini infielder Michael Massey was selected by the Kansas City Royals in the 4th round of the Major League Baseball Draft. Outfielder Jack Yalowitz went in the 10th round to the Colorado Rockies. Former Champaign Central pitcher Tanner Gordon went in the 6th round to the Atlanta Braves.
