Illinois Public Health Director Dr Ngozi Ezike. The state is announcing more than 22 hundred new cases of Coronavirus, bringing the total in Illinois to more than 96 thousand.

 

 

(Undated-jm) -- Local cases went up Monday. Vermilion County is reporting 1 new case bringing their total to 33. McLean County is reporting 17 new cases bringing their total to 187. Champaign County is reporting 25 new cases bringing their total to 412. Iroquois County is reporting 1 new case bringing their total to 119. Livingston County is reporting 1 new case bringing their total to 28 cases. Kankakee County is reporting 64 new cases bringing their total to 955. Ford County did not report any new cases leaving their total at 18.

 

 

(Undated-jm) -- According to the numbers from the Illinois Department of Public Health and local health departments, in Vermilion County 19 are in Danville. In Ford County, 7 are in Paxton. In Champaign County, 109 are in Rantoul, 3 are in Ludlow, 2 in Thomasboro, 12 in Mahomet, 4 in St. Joseph and 1 each in Gifford and Penfield. In Iroquois County, 43 are in Clifton, Chebanse, Onarga and Watseka have 11 each, Crescent City has 7 and Beaverville has 6.

(Springfield-jm) -- The Illinois Department of Employment Security has confirmed that a new online portal that processes claims for federal Pandemic Unemployment Assistance briefly allowed public access to applicants’ personal information including Social Security numbers. In a statement Monday, Illinois Department of Employment Security said its analysis found that one PUA claimant had “inadvertently” accessed personal data for a limited number of claimants.

(Pontiac-jm) -- Two Hoopeston residents are in the Livingston County Jail after they were arrested on drug charges in Pontiac. The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office says 29 year old Coty Morgeson and 54 year old Stephanie Solis were arrested following an ongoing meth investigation. Morgeson was charged with unlawful delivery of a controlled substance while Solis was charged with possession of a controlled substance.

(Undated-jm) -- The number of active and recovered cases rose Monday. In Vermilion County 17 have been released from isolation while 15 remain in isolation. In Ford County 13 have been released while 4 remain in isolation. In McLean County 107 have recovered, 65 are in isolation and 9 are hospitalized. In Champaign County, 217 have recovered, 188 are active with 4 hospitalized. In Iroquois County, 59 have recovered, 50 are in isolation and 6 are hospitalized. Livingston County says 24 have been removed and 3 are in isolation. Kankakee County reports 244 have recovered, 671 are active with 19 hospitalized.

The House will meet at the convention center while the Senate will meet in the Senate Chambers. That’s not the only change.
