(Gibson City-jm) -- Gibson City leaders have approved the sale of a portion of land in the Jordan Industrial Park. Steve Killian is going to relocate his business, Johnny on the Spot port-a-potty business to the site. The council approved the sale at a cost of $16,000.

(Gibson City-jm) -- Utility vehicles will now be covered under Gibson City’s golf cart ordinance. The city council approved to allow the vehicles on roads. ATV’s however, remained banned.

(Loda-jm) -- The Loda Village Board has approved the formation of their own planning commission. The seven member commission that will handle zoning and planning issues are: Shirley Meece, Joyce Sage, Cathi Caspers, Reginald Rasmus, Linda Bogard, Donald Hutchinson and Gene Breeden Jr. The commission will have members that serve 1,2 and 3 year terms.
