College Football

Georgia claimed the top spot in the latest College Football poll. They edged out Ohio St. Michigan comes in at number 3 with Florida St at #4 and Washington at #5. Penn St. came in at #12 and Iowa at #16.

 

(Champaign–jc)  It was a match up of top 25 teams last night at the State Farm Center in Champaign. The game was tied at 52 midway in the second half before number 4 Marquette went on a run and number 23  Illinois had a cold shooting spell. Final score was Marquette 71– Illinois 64.
